The 2009 FIVB Men's Club World Volleyball Championship Qatar (WVCQ) was held on 3-8 November 2009.

The event was a huge success in promoting Doha as a sport tourism attraction and increase the interest for the volleyball sport.

Cityneon is an official sponsor of this event hosted by Qatar and a press conference was held to recognise its sponsors.

Head of Marketing and Public Relations of the organising committee, Mr Abdul Rahman Al Dosari, welcomed Cityneon for its contibution of 400,000 Riyals in services provided. In his thank you note, Mr Dosari was pleased with this positive initiative by Cityneon, a company with an established presence in Qatar, Bahrain and other countries around the world.

Group Managing Director of Cityneon, Mr Ko Chee Wah, thanked the organising committee for the sponsorship opportunity to contribute to the event's success in mutual support to Qatar, which has opened its doors to foreign companies like Cityneon and also for contracting Cityneon for its World Expo 2010 country pavilion.
