The Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) was 60 years old in 2006, and to kick-start a series of celebrations, the MCYS Heritage Gallery was unveiled. The first phase of this permanent gallery charts the key milestones of the Ministry, its predecessors and statutory boards, serves as a testimony to the commitment and dedication shown by the Ministry. It also allows the staff to understand the history and legacy of MCYS, and visitors understand the changing needs and challenges Singapore has faced over the last 60 years.
